Why is my eSIM internet slow? Common causes & How to Fix It

Modified on Wed, 9 Jul at 4:30 PM

⚠️ Possible Causes

- Weak coverage in your current area

- Network congestion (e.g. in crowded tourist spots)

- Carrier prioritization (local carriers may limit data speeds for roaming users)

- High-speed limit reached on unlimited or daily data plans

- Device settings or temporary glitches

✅ Step-by-Step Solutions

1. Wait for Daily Data Reset

- If you’re on an unlimited or daily plan, you may have hit your high-speed cap. Speeds usually reset within 24 hours. You can continue using low-speed data in the meantime.

2. Move to a Better Coverage Area

- Check signal strength and try moving to an open or urban location for stronger reception.

3. Troubleshoot Your Device
