How to Fix “Unable to Activate eSIM” Error

❓ Problem


Fails to activate the eSIM with error message “Unable to Activate eSIM. You can try again, or contact your carrier for assistance.”


⚠️ Possible Causes


The connection to download the eSIM plan was disrupted.


✅ Step 1: Check Your Internet Connection


Before anything else:


- Make sure your device is connected to a strong and stable Wi-Fi network.

Do not use Airplane Mode.


✅ Step 2: Try Manual Installation


If scanning the QR code doesn’t work, you can add the eSIM manually using the details we sent via email.


Apple


1. Go to [Settings] > [Cellular/Mobile Service] > [Add eSIM]

2. Tap [Use QR code]

3. Select [Enter Details Manually]

4. Input the SM-DP+ Address and Activation Code exactly as provided

    

    (Make sure not to include https:// or http://)

    

5. Your eSIM plan should now begin activating automatically

Samsung


1. Go to [Settings] > [SIM Card Manager] > [Add eSIM]

2. Tap [Scan QR code], then choose [Enter activation code]

3. Enter the Activation Code from your email

    

    (Do not include https:// or http://)

    

4. Tap [Add], then follow the on-screen steps to complete setup

Google


1. Go to [Settings] > [Network & Internet] > [SIMs]

2. Tap [+ Add SIM] > [Download a new eSIM]

3. Tap [Need help?], then choose [Enter it manually]

4. Input the Activation Code from your email

    

    (Do not include https:// or http://)

    

5. Your eSIM will begin downloading and activating
