eSIM Stuck on “Activating”

Modified on Wed, 9 Jul at 4:23 PM

If your eSIM is stuck on “Activating” before you reach your destination, don’t worry — this is common and typically resolves automatically once you land and connect to a local network.

To make sure everything works smoothly when you arrive, please do not delete the eSIM, as it usually cannot be reinstalled or reissued once removed.

Instead, follow these steps:

A. Turn on “Data Roaming”

- Make sure “Data Roaming” is enabled for the new eSIM line you added.

B. Reset Your Network & Restart Your Device

1. Turn on Airplane Mode for about 15 seconds, then turn it off.

2. Restart your device to refresh the connection.

> Please note: For some plans, the validity period may start as soon as the eSIM is installed
