❓Problem
- You’re trying to activate your eSIM, but you’re getting an error message and the activation fails.
⚠️ Possible Causes
1. The eSIM may already be installed on your device, even if you’re not sure.
2. The activation code might have expired or already been used.
3. Manual activation is required on some devices but wasn’t attempted yet.
✅ How to Fix It
Step 1: Check if the eSIM is already installed
If you see the message:
“eSIM Cannot be added. This code is no longer valid. Contact your carrier for more information”
➡️ This usually means the eSIM is already installed on your phone.
What to do:
- On your phone, go to the list of installed eSIMs or mobile plans
- Click the ones that does not have phone number. If you plan includes a phone number, please click the one that has a phone number.
- If the plan has a carrier name such as KDDI or CMI, it is our plan.
- If it’s there, no need to add again — just make sure it’s enabled
