How to check if your phone is unlocked for eSIM

Modified on Tue, 8 Jul at 6:21 PM

If your phone is carrier-locked, it won’t work with our eSIM. Here’s how to check your phone’s lock status before installation:

Apple

1. Go to [Settings] > [General] > [About]

2. Swipe down to find:

- “Network Provider Lock – No SIM restrictions” → ✅ Your phone is unlocked

- “SIM restrictions” → ❌ Your phone is locked

Also, check that a Digital SIM IMEI is displayed—this confirms eSIM compatibility.

Samsung & Google

1. Go to [Settings] > [Connections] > [Mobile networks]

2. Tap [Network operators]

- If multiple networks appear → ✅ Your phone is likely unlocked

- If only one network appears or Search Networks is disabled → ❌ It’s likely locked

If your device is locked, contact your original carrier to request an unlock before using the eSIM plan.
